What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Accountant/Bookkeeper position at Liquid Systems, Inc.?
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clear and professional customer service, including answering phone calls.
- Daily order entry for material.
- Generate financial reports and assist with data entry.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain accurate records of expenses and revenue.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of accounting experience with references and a positive job history.
- Must know how to reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
- Experience beyond just accounts payable and accounts receivable is required.
- Sage Accounting System experience is a plus.
Additional Skills and Abilities:
- Must be proficient with MS Office applications.
- Must possess the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team structure.
- Must communicate professionally and clearly in written and verbal format.
- Must have excellent organizational skills.
- Must have general understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
