General Summary
The Facilities/Project Manager oversees the efficient management of a 10,000 sq ft warehouse. Their responsibilities include receiving incoming shipments, meticulously documenting and organizing inventory for online sales, as well as coordinating and supervising outbound shipments. Additionally, they are tasked with cultivating a mutually beneficial rapport with clients and effectively handling equipment redistribution and valuation to optimize productivity.
Responsibilities
- The role calls for a proactive individual who possesses exceptional organizational abilities and strong communication skills. Internally, close collaboration with the Account Manager is essential to identify supplementary revenue sources and maintain precise financial records and reporting. Externally, the candidate will engage with various levels of our client's organization to facilitate effective communication. Furthermore, direct interaction with buyers collecting their purchases from the warehouse is an integral part of the role.
- Meticulous attention to detail is of utmost importance in this role. The candidate will be responsible for diligently collecting, organizing, and overseeing all incoming inventory at the warehouse. Proficiency in computer systems is essential, with a specific requirement for Excel experience. Moreover, the candidate will be responsible for efficiently coordinating the redeployment of assets for the client. This will involve maintaining the assetzone database and effectively managing the shipment of assets back to the client's site.
- Our client is a leader in the BioPharma space and experience with lab equipment is preferred.
- Recommend solutions and best practices to improve efficiency and increase revenue.
- Participate in conference calls with the client.
- Manage and provide status update reports to Manager and Client on a regular basis.
- Coordinate and problem solve dispute claims with Customer Support and Account Team.
- Communicate the claim of each dispute and provide recommended solutions to the Seller in coordination with the Account Team within 72 hours.
- Distribute Post Sale Reports to the client which include sale results and recommendations for next steps.
Qualifications
Education/ Experience/ Knowledge:
- Undergraduate Degree (Business, Communications or related field) preferred but can be supplemented by experience.
- 3 years of experience in a self-motivating and initiative driven work environment.
- Direct applicable experience in the BioPharma vertical is desirable.
- Logistics and supply chain management experience is desirable.
Skills:
- Advanced level proficiency in Excel, Word, and CRM database.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented; accurate and timely.
Ability:
- Ability to handle multiple conflicting deadlines.
- Must be reliable with tasks and attendance.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems.
- Ability to oparate a forklift.
- Ability to learn internal systems.
Work Conditions:
- Position will require extensive time spent in a warehouse, significant time will also be spent in front of a computer.
- Position will require ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 lbs.
- The position is Monday through Friday, dayshift.
Location:
- Candidates must be able to work (Monday - Friday) from a warehouse in NJ.
Travel:
- Minimal travel is required in the northeast and particularly within New Jersey.
