Candidate to provide high-caliber bidirectional Spanish to English or Portuguese to English interpretation, translation, and transcription for high-level engagements and exchanges. Possible CONUS and OCONUS TDY opportunities to meet the office's requirements as needed. Travel - approximately 20%.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Interpretation and Translation obtain in the U.S. or in country of language. and/or Federal Court interpretation certification.
- 4 full-time professional years of experience to include
o Translating from Spanish into English.
o Interpreting Spanish<>English.
o Transcribing Spanish<>English.
- Professional language training in English and Spanish.
Must pass the Translation Assessment; Speaking, Listening, and Reading; and Interpretation Tests.
