Job Description Position: CAT II Ukrainian Linguist Mission Description: Under the direction of the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID), The Terrorism and Criminal Investigation Unit (TCIU) conducts worldwide criminal investigations of alleged or suspected war crimes and acts of terrorism against U.S. persons, property, or interests. The TCIU also provides specialized investigative, legal, and analytical support to the Military Commissions, as well as to U.S. Army counterterrorism and counterinsurgency operations in support of host nation rule of law operations. Job Duties: * Provide linguistic support for TCIU investigations and related activities.
* Support up to 120 hours per month on an on-call basis located at the Pentagon or facility in surrounding area.
* May be required to support up to 3 separate projects simultaneously (schedule will be provided 30 days in advance) Minimum Qualifications: * Provide accurate, complete, and trusted interpretation and/or translation of data from a variety in support of customer's mission.
* Read, write, and speak in clear and concise grammar and pronunciation in Ukrainian and English at a minimum of 3 on the ILR scale
* Active DoD Secret Clearance Note - All work is conducted on-site in the National Capital region and on-call basis. Schedule will fluctuate depending on mission requirements.
