Mechanical Engineer - (In-Office) - Kodak, TN

We are currently seeking a Product Development Engineer (Mechanical Engineer) to add to our growing engineering staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and work on diverse projects that contribute to our product offerings. This is an in-office job (not remote or hybrid) with the following responsibilities and needed skill set :

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems using various software, standards, and codes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to optimize designs for manufacturability.
• Utilize a thorough understanding of pipe support components, and their functionality on analysis work.
• Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, design reports, and design report summaries.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements to enhance product development.
• Utilize knowledge to provide technical assistance in determining the best suitable and least cost application of pipe supports while meeting applicable codes and customer requirements.
