Overview
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets and managing accounts, sales representatives, and dealers within an assigned region. This role focuses on driving revenue, developing relationships, and ensuring Listen Technologies' solutions are the top choice for audio-visual professionals and end-users.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales activities in the assigned region to meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets.
- Develop and support an independent representative network to drive growth and increase specifications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, consultants, and end-users to expand market influence.
- Provide training and direction for representatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and best practices.
- Deliver consultative sales strategies and recommend solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing to share market insights and influence product strategy.
- Represent Listen Technologies at trade shows, industry events, and sales meetings.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities using the CRM system.
- Monitor and analyze competitive solutions and industry trends to maintain an edge.
- Develop and implement travel plans and schedules to ensure effective territory coverage.
Qualifications
- 5 years of sales experience in the audio-visual industry or a related field.
- Strong technical understanding of AV and assistive listening solutions.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Strategic thinker with attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
- Willingness to travel (50%) for in-territory customer visits, trade shows, and company events.
