Pre-Owned Variable Manager

Mercedes-Benz of Ann Arbor is seeking an experienced and driven Pre-Owned Variable Manager to lead our used car operations.

This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in used vehicle management and the desire to grow into a full variable leadership position.

Responsibilities

• Desk pre-owned vehicle deals to support and guide the sales team.
• Lead and develop a high-performing sales staff to achieve department goals.
• Manage and grow used vehicle inventory through acquisitions, trades, and outside the box thinking.
• Maintain competitive pricing and aging inventory strategy.
• Collaborate with F&I and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as an F&I Manager is highly preferred but not required.
• Exposure to new car desking is a plus, but not required.
• Proven track record in used car operations and team leadership.

• Must be able to desk pre-owned deals independently.
• Must have experience in used car acquisition and pricing strategy.
• Must be comfortable working closely with the sales team to drive performance.
