Technical Business Analyst

As champions of innovation, our Business Analysts are not only responsible for identifying strategic opportunities but also for developing and implementing initiatives that enhance efficiency, streamline operations, and drive productivity.

In your role as a Technical Business Analyst, you will collaborate closely with both technical and business stakeholders to assess, analyze, and refine business and user needs. Your expertise in Power BI and SQL will be crucial as you deliver insightful, data-driven solutions that empower better business decisions, improve processes, and support the company’s strategic goals. By leveraging these tools, you’ll play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that directly influence and optimize business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Power BI Development: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, translating business requirements into data visualizations.
• Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources into Snowflake, ensuring efficient data flow for Power BI reporting.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data trends and provide insights using Power BI and Snowflake to support business decisions and KPIs.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Gather and clarify reporting requirements from stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Continuous Improvement: Optimize Power BI reports for performance and automate reporting processes using Snowflake.
• Documentation: Document data models, ETL processes, and reporting workflows to ensure clarity and maintainability.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of Power BI and Snowflake solutions.

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in business requirements gathering, with a strong focus on data and analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited university.
• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI with 2 years of hands-on experience.
• Strong SQL skills with exposure to Azure preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new business domains and grasp industry-specific requirements.
• Exceptional communication and documentation skills, ensuring clarity in technical and business contexts.
• Advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Pay

• Salary: $70-100k
