We are seeking a motivated Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in environmental health and safety within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role will provide valuable exposure to EHS principles, regulatory compliance, and risk management practices while contributing to projects that enhance workplace safety and environmental sustainability.Key Responsibilities:
- Support EHS Programs: Assist with implementing and maintaining safety, environmental, and health programs, including regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Policy and Procedure Development: Support the development and implementation of site specific EHS policies and procedures.
- Training Support: Develop and assist in delivery of safety training content, including presentations, toolbox talks, etc.
- Waste Management: Assist with hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, including storage, labeling, and regulatory reporting.
- Audits and Inspections: Perform EHS inspections and audits of equipment, processes, and facilities to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborative Projects: Work with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and operations, to support company EHS goals.
- Hands-on experience in a regulated, ISO-certified manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to EHS principles and practices in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Practical knowledge of EHS regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Experience with collaborating with cross functional teams to meet company goals
- Exposure to real-time sustainability efforts to reduce carbon footprint and environmental impacts

- Currently Enrolled: Pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Regulations: Basic understanding of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations (preferred but not required).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with EHS software or systems is a plus.
- Strong Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
