Toddler Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves creating and implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and supporting the diverse needs of students, including those with special education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting a respectful and productive learning atmosphere.
• Educate students on various subjects while incorporating hands-on activities to enhance learning experiences.
• Collaborate with parents and staff to support students' individual needs.
• Foster an inclusive environment that recognizes the diverse backgrounds of all students.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom conducive to learning.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• EDU-119 or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire is required.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Experience in lesson planning and classroom management techniques.
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support positive student interactions.
• Previous experience working with preschool or early childhood education settings is highly desirable.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs, including special education requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
