Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional guest services at our hotel. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient check-in and check-out processes. Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist with the check-in process.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Manage phone systems to answer calls promptly and address guest requests or concerns effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and guest preferences in the hotel management system.
- Facilitate smooth check-out procedures, including processing payments and resolving any billing issues.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing guest complaints or issues with professionalism and efficiency.
- Promote hotel services and upsell room upgrades or packages when appropriate.
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and phone systems is essential for effective guest interactions.
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles, particularly in resort or hotel settings, is advantageous.
