Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring accuracy in orders.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns or requests.
- Process payments using the POS system, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines to maintain a safe dining environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with basic math skills for handling transactions effectively.
- Knowledge of retail math concepts is beneficial for managing inventory and supplies.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience with POS systems is an advantage but can be learned on the job.
