We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Crew Leader to oversee and manage our project teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating tasks, supervising team members, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety on-site.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of workers in various construction tasks, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
- Utilize software tools such as Primavera, Prolog, and HeavyBid for project management and scheduling.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide the team in executing tasks accurately.
- Conduct regular safety meetings to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Manage daily operations on-site, including delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and addressing any issues that arise.
- Train team members on equipment usage, including the proper use of an ohmmeter and other tools relevant to the job.
- Collaborate with project managers to report on progress, challenges, and resource needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction or related industry.
- Proficiency in using construction management software such as Bluebeam for document management and collaboration.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining safety standards on-site.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents including schematics and blueprints effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Familiarity with project management principles and tools such as Primavera is highly desirable.
