Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated ABA Administrative Assistant to join our team in Boca Raton, FL. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a medical office and will be responsible for supporting the daily administrative operations of our office. This is a full-time, in-person position with a schedule of 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The position is a 1-year contract with a pay rate of $18/hour.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries.
Manage office correspondence, including emails, faxes, and mail.
Maintain and update patient records and files, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
Handle insurance verification, billing, and processing claims.
Assist with medical office supplies, inventory, and ordering.
Coordinate with physicians and staff for efficient office operations.
Prepare and maintain various reports and documents as needed.
Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures.
Assist in processing patient payments and scheduling follow-up appointments.
Provide general administrative support to the office as required.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a medical office is required.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.
Familiarity with insurance verification and medical billing processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Professional demeanor with a focus on customer service and patient care.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
