Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems and equipment within our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to ensuring a safe and functional environment for all occupants. The Maintenance Person will work collaboratively with other team members and departments to address maintenance needs promptly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including residential painting, electrical repairs, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Supervise and lead maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and protocols.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or improvements.
- Operate tools and equipment safely, including the use of an ohmmeter and logic controllers for electrical diagnostics.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns related to maintenance in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed work orders and inventory usage.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential painting, electrical work, or general maintenance is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities in a team environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and adapting to changing environments.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
