Job Summary
The Child Care Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the child care facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development.
- Supervise and mentor staff to ensure high-quality care and education is provided to all children.
- Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding child care operations.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and families, providing regular updates on children's progress and activities.
- Manage the facility's budget and resources efficiently to support program goals.
- Conduct regular assessments of the program's effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes for children.
- Collaborate with community organizations to enhance program offerings and resources available to families.
Qualifications
- A degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in education administration or higher education teaching is highly desirable.
- Proven experience working with students in an educational setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with families, staff, and community partners.
