You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can explore, learn, and thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care and supervision for young children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, including playtime, arts and crafts, storytime, and outdoor play.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity, social interaction, and emotional development.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom or childcare space.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure continuity of care and share updates on their child's progress.
- Monitor and document children's behavior, milestones, and any concerns, and communicate with management or parents as necessary.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or early childhood education degree is a plus.
- Proven experience working with young children, preferably in a childcare or preschool setting.
- Comprehensive understanding of child development and early education techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and respond to the needs of individual children.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for children.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
