What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toddler Teacher position at Little Explorers?
Our 5 star program offers a safe and nurturing environment where children ages 6 weeks - 4th grade can learn and grow! We are looking for someone highly motivated and who LOVES children. We are specifically looking for someone to work with our toddler ages.
Duties:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Conduct activities that promote physical, social, and intellectual development
- Monitor and assess students' progress to provide individualized instruction
- Collaborate with parents to support each child's growth and development
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom conducive to learning
Skills:
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques
- Ability to establish professional relationships and positive communication with families and co-workers
- Ability to educate and engage young learners effectively
- Knowledge of child welfare practices and regulations
- Understanding of childhood development stages and early intervention strategies
- Obtaining and keeping up to date CPR/ required trainings upon hire
