Summary Job Description
Performs professional level social casework duties in developing and providing support services for foster parents, conducting home studies / home assessments and MAPP / Kinship Trainings for the agency. Under general supervision, the employee will perform both field and office work and provide comprehensive assessments of the foster / adoptive homes as well as the families.
Principle Responsibilities
- Conduct and complete recertifications, home visits and collect documents; relocations and re-assessing inactive homes.
- Organize and facilitate Kinship MAPP / Deciding Together trainings.
- Represent the agency at City, State and other meetings and events.
- Work collaboratively as a team member with Intake / Training Department.
- Enters documentation in LFCS Intranet as well as OCFS Connections database.

Travel Requirements
This position is in Brooklyn with travel to other locations. A valid NYS driver's license is required if driving a vehicle. Public transportation may also be used.
