This vital leadership position is key to enhancing the high level of member service enjoyed by our members since the 1930s. The optimum candidate will possess progressive management experience and incorporate the core values of club management. He or she will be considered by peers to have the utmost integrity and professionalism. Candidates should have experience in a high-volume, platinum level club or a five-star resort focusing on food and beverage operations.
The Club is seeking candidates with proven dining experience, wine knowledge, and a high-end service demeanor. Proven leadership qualities which support the collaborative service culture and an ability to develop a strong team are prerequisites, allowing him/her to successfully mentor, coordinate and manage the service staff. The ideal candidate must thrive and have the energy to maintain service levels in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The candidate will have strong organizational and interpersonal skills with an understanding of how to deliver exceptional member services.
The Assistant General Manager/F&B Director will be highly visible to the membership and will lead activity on the floor each day to ensure quality service is being provided to members. The AGM/F&B Director will be responsible for all daily front-of-house operations including scheduling, room set-up, function planning, dining operations, and team training and development. He or she will assist in the hiring of the personnel during the off-season.
The AGM /F&B Director will lead a service team of 50 and provide collaborative support to all department managers. He or she will report to the General Manager and work laterally with the Executive Chef.
This position has a very flexible and enjoyable offseason schedule, allowing the candidate to travel, spend time with family, or gain additional experience by temporally participating in other club operations.
