Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated infant and toddler Teacher to join our educational team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early educational experiences of our students, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies as necessary.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development and classroom activities.
- Support literacy education through engaging activities that promote reading and language skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive environment that meets the diverse needs of all students.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Ensure compliance with child welfare regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies.
- Experience in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to plan lessons that incorporate standardized testing requirements while maintaining an engaging curriculum.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques that support positive child interactions.
