Little League International in Williamsport, Pennsylvania is looking for a dedicated IT Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic Information Technology team to assist employees with resolving technical issues related to desktop applications, IT equipment and other Little League IT systems as well as support key Little League infrastructure.

This full-time hybrid (after training period) role will be responsible for the review and utilization of all available resources for the efficient operation and services of the Little League IT equipment and to resolve hardware, operating system, productivity software and network problems.

This full-time exempt position has flexible core hours of Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While most work is done during normal business hours, occasional peaks in workload and special events such as the Little League World Series may require working in the evenings and on weekends. Occasional travel may be required.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN IT TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST AT LITTLE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL:

As an IT Technical Support Specialist, you will troubleshoot and problem solve technology issues throughout the organization and triage and resolve service desk support tickets from our constituents in a timely manner, escalating issues requiring urgent attention. As a member of the IT team, you will assist in managing the computer hardware and software inventory and their warranty schedules, oversee and track the temporary sign out of devices and equipment to employees, and assist in creating and implementing device replacement schedules. Keeping current with technology, computer system changes and updates is vital to Little League International’s technology plan. You will be providing hardware and software support to the organization’s retail operations as well as maintaining the devices and software used in the shipping and receiving department. This position will also assist with the set-up and maintenance of the telephone and security systems as well as assist with the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of access control and video surveillance systems.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Computer Science or comparable discipline, or
  • 2 years of professional software development experience.
  • Familiar with the following technologies:
  • Microsoft Windows and PC and MAC hardware, networking principles
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Server and Active Directory
  • TCP/IP, remote network access and VPN
  • Experience with UCaaS/VoIP systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be responsive to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with co-workers, representatives of other Little League departments.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork, interpersonal, communications, and writing skills.
