Job Description
This role requires a highly skilled individual to provide technical information technology (IT) support services to various departments within the Pennsylvania Department of State. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be proficient in troubleshooting techniques, and have a strong understanding of hardware and software concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing, administering, and maintaining system security standards, policies, and procedures.
- Provide technical assistance on desktop hardware, laptops, tablets, peripherals, and software to supported agencies.
- Establish and implement hardware and software installation standards for supported agencies.
- Analyze and resolve end-user security and resource access control problems.
- Administer network security, add/change/delete user accounts, passwords, and account lockouts.
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support, project management, or related field.
- Knowledge of IT concepts, hardware, software, and networking principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
