Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to creating engaging lesson plans and activities that cater to the diverse needs of preschool-aged children.

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive atmosphere conducive to learning.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their development.
  • Facilitate engaging activities that promote physical, emotional, and social growth among children.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
  • Experience in classroom management and creating engaging learning environments is essential.
  • Previous experience working with children in settings such as daycare, babysitting, or nannying is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues while maintaining a positive attitude towards teaching.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
  • A genuine passion for nurturing young minds and fostering their growth through creative play and structured activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.66 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
