Little Learners Childcare Center LLC is hiring Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers for our Lapeer and Metamora Centers! We have immediate openings in our Infant, Toddler, Early Preschool, Preschool and Pre-K classrooms where our teachers are working in structured classrooms and following a play-based curriculum. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available with an excellent benefits package and plenty of room for professional growth. We are a fast-growing, family owned and operated, childcare center specializing in providing early education for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. As we continue to expand, we are looking for energetic, passionate, and dependable individuals with a strong desire to teach our little learners and make a difference every day!
Qualifications for our Teachers include:
- Prior Childcare or Daycare experience is preferred, but willing to train!
- CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain
- Child Development Associate Certification is a plus
- Degree or Courses Completed in Early Childhood Education are a plus
- Basic computer skills to assist with projects and daily logging of child’s information
- Ability to engage in physical activity and lift up to 30lbs. when needed
- Familiar with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Meet background check requirements with fingerprint clearance
- Provide negative TB test results prior to starting position
- Strong communication and instructional skills
- Dependable and flexible with a strong work ethic
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent multi-tasking ability
Compensation:
- Rate of pay is based on level of education and experience in the field of early childhood
