Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Center Director to lead our Texas Rising Star (TRS) designated school in Houston, Texas who encompasses strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the TRS program, including curriculum implementation, staff supervision, and day-to-day operations.
- Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate teaching staff and other personnel.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets TRS standards and supports children's development.
- Foster positive relationships with families and ensure open communication between the program and families.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements set by the HHS and other regulatory agencies.
- Manage the program's budget, maintain records and documentation, and comply with reporting requirements.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the quality of the TRS program and identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and engage in self-assessment processes to enhance the quality of early childhood education and care.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Minimum of [5] years of experience in early childhood education, with [5] years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Must have non expiring Texas Director's Credential.
- Knowledge of Texas Rising Star (TRS) & Minimum standards and guidelines.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and community partners.
- Dedication to promoting the well-being and development of young children.
