Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team in a loving Christian Preschool. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and be dedicated to educating and ministering to God’s precious preschool children. The Preschool Teacher must have the education and experience, which provides the knowledge and skill needed to be an effective preschool teacher under the supervision of the centers director.
Must remain available for afternoons (12:30-6:00pm or 2:30-6:00pm)
Responsibilities
- The Preschool Support teacher shall have responsibilities for but not limiting to:
- with the children both outside and inside the classroom.
- Assisting the teacher in the needs of the children by:
a. Class preparation
b. Organization and daily care of the classroom.
c. Carrying out of the daily routine in assigned classroom.
- Assisting the teacher in the needs of the children by:
a. Participating in play activities both outside and inside the classroom.
b. Participating and guiding children during center time, art time, circle time, and academic centers, etc.
c. Aiding the children in their various and individual needs.
- Help to maintain an educational environment inside the classroom with boards and learning centers.
- Help to maintain order and discipline inside and outside the classroom.
- Restock items needed such as: gloves, chemicals, soap dispensers, cups, etc.
- When time permits clean: baskets for lunch, gates, step stools, microwave, counters, trash cans, snack cart and anything you see needs to be done.
- Share in daily cleaning duties in all areas of the center.
- Perform related duties as assigned.

Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting is essential.
- Familiarity with curriculum development techniques tailored for early childhood education is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff members.
- A genuine passion for educating young minds and creating a positive impact on their early learning experiences is crucial.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
