Part Time Front of House at Local BBQ Joint

Little Miss BBQ is currently hiring for a Part-Time Front of House employee to join our team at our University Avenue location.

The ideal candidate has a few years experience in the restaurant industry with demonstrated skills in Customer Service and running a POS system. Our Front of House teammates also support preparing takeout orders, preparing and serving side dishes, and cleaning/bussing tables and spend a lot of time talk to our guest about our famous BBQ!

No Late Nights! We close at 7PM and our team is typically off the clock before 9PM, so still time to meet up with friends and family at the end of the day.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and assist customers with their orders, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, adhering to sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
• Uphold food safety practices and ensure compliance with food handler certification requirements.

AVAILABILITY

• 2PM and later - No early mornings and no late nights
• Closed Sunday and Monday
• Part Time hours ~20hrs a week

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Happy, Courteous and Enthusiastic
• Hard working and attentive
• Ability to pay attention to small details
• Responsible and dependable
• Lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds
• Kneel, bend, twist and stoop
• Reach for objects above the head and below the waist
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to show up to scheduled shifts on time
• Ability to multitask
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Provide customers with quick and friendly service
• Align with Little Miss BBQ’s culture by balancing work and having fun
• Food Handler and AZ Title 4 Liquor Certification
