Infant/Ones Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dependable teacher to join our team! We love our students and want someone who is committed to providing a nurturing, loving, and educational environment for them.

This role involves engaging with children ages 6 weeks-2 years, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning and structured activities. We use the curriculum Frog Street.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
• Facilitate daily activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development, including arts and crafts, storytelling, and outdoor play.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies.
• Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the overall development of each child.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom that promotes learning and exploration.
• Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of childhood development principles and best practices in preschool education.
• Experience working with toddlers in daycare or preschool settings.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A genuine love for working with young children and a commitment to their growth and development.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
