Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager (QCM) to oversee and implement our Quality Control Plan (QCP) for custodial services. The QCM will be responsible for ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, maintaining service quality, and identifying areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the implementation of the Contractor’s Quality Control Plan to ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of custodial services to maintain high-quality standards.
- Identify, document, and address deficiencies, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and maintain quality control records, reports, and performance metrics.
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure adherence to safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
- Train and mentor custodial staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related concerns and client interactions.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years of documented experience in custodial services, with a focus on quality control and compliance.
- Strong understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices for custodial and janitorial services.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conduct inspections and provide constructive feedback to staff.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory or management experience in custodial services.
- Familiarity with quality control methodologies such as ISO standards or Six Sigma principles.
Work Environment:
- This position may require standing, walking, and inspecting various facilities.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary based on operational needs.
