Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for food, hospitality, and creating unforgettable experiences? Little Ruby's Café, part of the vibrant Wish You Were Here Group, is seeking an experienced Off-Site Catering and Event Sales Manager to spearhead our catering and events business in the heart of NYC.
What You’ll Do
- Leverage your extensive network of corporate and business clients to generate leads and secure catering contracts for business lunches, corporate events, and social gatherings.
- Serve as the primary contact for off-site catering inquiries, building strong client relationships and ensuring a seamless experience from planning to execution.
- Collaborate with clients to customize menus and event plans, working closely with our culinary and service teams to deliver the elevated experience Little Ruby's is known for.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and event planners.
- Manage logistics and coordinate with vendors to ensure flawless delivery and setup at client locations.
- Work in a hybrid capacity—enjoy the flexibility of working from home while also being on-site as needed for meetings and events.
What We’re Looking For
- A proven track record in sales, catering, or event management, ideally with a focus on corporate clients and business dining.
- A strong Rolodex of NYC-based corporate contacts to hit the ground running.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- A passion for hospitality, an eye for detail, and a client-first mindset.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently while being an integral part of a collaborative team.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $70K–$85K, with a commission structure to reward sales performance.
- Commission Structure:
- $0–$500,000 in sales: 2% commission
- $501,000–$1,000,000 in sales: 3% commission
- $1,000,000–$2,000,000 in sales: 4% commission
- $2,000,000–$3,000,000 in sales: 5% commission
