Lead Infant Teacher - this is a full-time position!

Our approach to teaching can be described as a sharing of knowledge between child and an adult, in a hands-on atmosphere.
These positions are full-time.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Working with children from 6 weeks – 18 months old
· Collaborating with other teachers to create developmentally appropriate activities.
· Ensuring daily care of each child in the program by adhering to all the standards as per the licensing requirements
· Curriculum implementation
· Adherence to New York State Regulations and work as a team to follow the classroom schedule
Job Requirements
· Must be at least 18 years of age.
· Associates Degree in Early Childhood -OR- CURRENT CDA Credential, or willing to start the CDA Credential process.
· Experience caring for children (preferred)
Additionally, once hired, candidates will complete teacher preparation training programs in accordance with NY state regulations and receive on-going training with many professional development opportunities.

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
Skills:
· Classroom management
· Ability to educate and engage young children through various teaching methods.
· Experience in behavior management techniques for young children.
· Lesson planning expertise for early childhood education curriculum
· Knowledge of toddler care best practices.
