Early Childhood Assistant Teacher
Take joy in supporting the magic of childhood! The Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs is seeking early childhood assistant teachers for our preschool classes (ages 24 months to 3 years) for the 2025-2026 school year. Successful applicants will be creative, nurturing individuals who have experience working with children. A love of the outdoors is essential, as a significant portion of each day is spent outside. Ideal candidates will demonstrate an interest in Waldorf Education and the ability to work closely under the guidance of the Lead Teacher.
Our Forest Kindergarten campus offers classrooms located in a farmhouse and trails for play and exploration on 30 acres of state park land and forest. Our in-town Early Childhood Center is located close to downtown Saratoga Springs next to a large recreation park and offers cozy classrooms and a magical play yard.
Responsibilities include supporting the lead teacher and children throughout the day and room setup and cleanup. We offer 2-, 3- and 5-day classes, and hours run from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
