Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves implementing age-appropriate curricula, engaging in meaningful interactions with students, and collaborating with parents to support each child's growth.

Duties

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
Manage classroom behavior effectively to promote a positive learning environment.
Foster child welfare by ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere for all students.
Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met.
Collaborate with special education professionals to support children with varying needs.
Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Engage in early intervention practices to support children who may require additional assistance.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.

Requirements

Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas :

Behavior management techniques to maintain a harmonious classroom environment.

Classroom management skills that promote engagement and learning.

Lesson planning tailored to the developmental stages of preschool-aged children.

Understanding of childhood development principles to support individual learning paths.

Experience in private school settings is a plus.

Benefits

Benefits are offered to all employees who have completed the 90-day probationary period. In addition to school paid vacations and leave, the Preschool offers the following benefits.

Employees with children attending the Preschool will receive a 50% tuition discount for one child per year. All ancillary costs (registration, field trips, late payment charges, etc.) are fully the responsibility of the employee.

Employees working more than 34 hours per week are eligible to participate and enroll in the Preschool's SIMPLE plan. The school will match 1% of contributions to the plan up to 3% each school year for enrolled employee.

Employees receive 2 weeks partial pay for 2 weeks of their choosing for holiday closures, fall break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, winter or spring break.

Paid time off for every 30 hours worked, employees earn 1 hour off.
