Position: Toddler Program Assistant, full time/Part time
Location: Little Steps STEAM Preschool Fremont CA 94536
Qualifications: Passion and patience to work with small children, strong verbal and communication skills, solid understanding of childhood development and appropriate practices willing to work with children ages 18 months to 3 years
Preschool Teacher Assistant responsibilities:
- Assist the teacher with providing the children a “prepared environment”
- Prepare classroom activities and curriculum according to the teacher’s direction
- Keep the classroom clean and inviting
- Assist with individual and/or group activities to stimulate growth of the children in social, emotional and academic areas
- Supervise classroom as directed by the teacher
- Assist in the supervision of the playground and lunchtime.
- Assist during snack time and in keeping the classroom clean
- Support children hygiene (diapering and toilet-training)
Prerequisite:
- Fingerprints clearance
- Medical and TB clearance
Prior experience working with children preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
