Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes childhood development and learning.
- Plan and conduct daily activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to build strong relationships and support each child's growth.
- Provide individualized support for children with special needs through early intervention strategies.
- Monitor children's progress through standardized testing and assessments, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices in early childhood education.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational trends and practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in daycare or early childhood education settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with tutoring techniques and strategies for supporting diverse learning styles is a plus.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and best practices in early intervention.
- Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored to young children's needs is highly desirable.
