Little Wonders Pediatric Therapy is a pediatric therapy clinic serving the greater Charlotte area, with three locations providing occupational, speech, and physical therapy services to children aged birth to 18 in our engaging outpatient offices.
About the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and flexible Administrative Coordinator who thrives in a pediatric environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism through accurate medical billing (or a willingness to learn), adherence to confidentiality, and knowledge of accounting and HIPAA standards. Responsibilities:
- Utilize EMR for client check-ins, scheduling, payments, account management, communication with referral sources, and billing claims
- Answer phones enthusiastically to handle therapy inquiries, referrals, patient intake, and scheduling needs
- Coordinate with insurance companies to verify policies, submit authorizations, and process claims
- Collect patient payments as required
- Collaborate with therapists and families to schedule clients
- Perform additional job duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Preferred: 2 or 4-year degree; High school diploma required
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously such as phone handling, client check-ins, and financial transactions
- Full-time availability with a commitment to maintaining a healthy work-life balance through flexible hours
- Previous experience in a medical office role, with knowledge of medical billing preferred
