Janitorial Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to maintain hygiene standards.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing as needed.
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks in compliance with safety protocols.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required, including minor repairs and painting.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.

Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment operation.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
- Ability to perform residential painting tasks when necessary.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean effectively and efficiently.
- Good organizational skills to maintain cleanliness in various environments.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.50 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday

• Custodial experience: 1 year (Required)
