Littleton Joyce Ughetta & Kelly LLP, a mid-sized, national law firm with a diverse complex litigation practice is in search of a part-time legal administrative assistant to provide support to attorneys in our Merritt Island, FL office. Required Skills:
- Able to manage a high volume of emails
- Team oriented and able to work in a multi-office, fast paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail, able to follow up, prioritize and follow through
- Quick learner, tech savvy, strong organizational, writing and communications skills
- Ability to handle competing deadlines in a high pressure environment
- Maintain a personable and professional attitude with clients and all levels of staff.
Duties:
· E-filing (state and federal)
· Check requests
· Expense reports
· Generating and editing prebills
· Finalizing bills and submitting to clients via e-mail and e-billing websites
· Drafting Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities
· Transcription
· Scheduling depositions
· Making travel arrangements
· Ordering office supplies
· Saving materials to electronic database
· Managing calendars
· Preparing exhibits for filings
Qualifications:
- Must have familiarity with litigation process and motion practice
- High proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary in a law firm environment
· A typing speed of at least 50 WPM.
· Candidates must be team players who are punctual, resourceful, organized, and enthusiastic to learn new skills.
