What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Trades Instructor, EPIC Campus position at Littleton Public Schools?
- Instruct project-based curriculum for multiple courses that is industry relevant and allows students to earn industry certifications, concurrent enrollment, content credit and work-based learning experiences
- Collaborate with LPS teachers (CTE, content teachers, special service providers)
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
- Maintain budget and tracking data of student participation
- Support the overall goals of the Construction Trades Pathway, the EPIC Campus, and Littleton Public Schools
- Assist in selecting and ordering equipment
- Serve on advisory committees
- Complete additional training as necessary
- Support Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for pathway
- Promote the EPIC Campus and this pathway by connecting with students, parents, community members and industry partners
- Instruct pathway-specific summer programming course in June (minimum of 15 days, 4 hours per day). Schedule set by EPIC Campus Administration.
- Relevant industry experience with an emphasis in commercial construction and management.
- Proficiency using and teaching construction software, with a preference for Procore and/or BIM.
- Experience in building trades; basic understanding of OSHA, framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, finishing

- The appropriate postsecondary Career and Technical credential aligned with the pathway.
- Criminal background check is required for hire.

The Construction Trades Instructor will collaborate with EPIC Campus staff members and local industry partners to continue to develop and instruct the following classes; Construction 1, Construction 2, Apprenticeship Prep, Construction Management. This is a 210-day contract beginning July 30, 2025, through June 18, 2026. The first day of class in Littleton Public Schools is August 12, 2025.
