Role ObjectiveSenior Writer, Editorial is primarily responsible for providing written content on LIV Golf digital platforms, contributing to social and broadcast platforms when appropriate, supporting League initiatives and messaging for the Communications team while working closely with the Editorial Director to fulfill content needs and requestsResponsibilitiesProvide stories on the LIV Golf League competition, including news developments, previews, recaps, and other features to highlight the innovative approach to pro golfSupply stories that inform and educate LIV Golf fans on the unique aspects of the team and individual competitions, including season-long points races, promotion / relegationProduce content that promotes the LIV Golf Fantasy game and other gaming initiativesWrite and report from an inside-the-ropes perspective, including Instruction, Equipment and Course informationGenerate off-week content that will deliver fresh news to LIV Golf fans and spin forward to generate interest in upcoming eventsMonitor and provide coverage of LIV Golf players and teams at League events, as well as appearances in International Series events, Promotion event and other high-profile tournaments, including Majors and Team CompetitionsBuild connections with the 13 LIV Golf teams to help tell their beyond-the-ropes stories and promote their initiativesProvide stories promoting the impact programs from a League perspective and the team levelSupply content to support successful projects across LIV Golf departments, including charity, ticketing, apparel, event presentation and other key areas and business objectivesFurnish content in other League areas and on various content platforms as neededSupport Editorial, Communications and Digital initiatives as neededExperience 5 years in golf media, proven experience writing editorial golf contentRequired Skills Superior written and reporting skills requiredAbility to interact with golfers, caddies, and support staffKnowledge of style and grammar, particularly from a golf perspectiveExcellent computer skills, Microsoft Excel, Google docs etc.Digital production experience in Content Management Systems a plusHigh level of detail in a fast-paced environmentCreative storytellingGlobal travel requiredLIV Golf Investments is an equal-opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace and the equal treatment of all current and prospective employees.
