Position Summary
We are seeking an Immigration Attorney to join our high-performing team and contribute to our mission and vision. In this role, you will conduct research, develop cases, and meet with clients. This position reports to the Managing Attorney and is based in our Orlando office.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct initial consultations and client meetings.
- Develop cases, working with the team and clients to ensure proper evidence is obtained.
- Perform necessary legal research to assist with briefs, requests for evidence, and attorney memos.
- Supervise Legal Support staff, ensuring case loads and deadlines are managed effectively.
- Provide content for informational materials and other internal and external web content.
- Maintain case files, ensuring notes are kept up to date in the case management software.
- Perform various other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements
- Must be admitted to the Bar in any U.S. state, with a preference for the Florida Bar.
- Two or more years of work experience in immigration law.
- Written and spoken fluency in English and Brazilian Portuguese - Spanish is a plus.
- Consistently demonstrates a service-oriented mindset.
- Self-starter and problem solver.
- Strong ability to build positive relationships within the team.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
Competitive Salary & Benefits Package
Total compensation package is expected to range between $80,000 and $110,000, depending on experience.
