Description :
The Software will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet the needs of our customers and enhance the performance of our systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and ensure the quality and efficiency of our software products.
Requirements :
- Develop IT systems, both cloud and on-premises applications.
- Analyzes users’ needs and designs, constructs, tests, and maintains computer applications software or systems.
- Works with both senior and junior level programmers to ensure high quality and on-time delivery of commercial software products.
- Participates in a formal development process where he / she analyzes and defines requirements.
- Designs, develops, tests, maintains, and documents new or existing programs; prepares system data flows and specifications.
- Provides input to develop system estimates and interfaces with database, QA groups, product management, tech writing, and documentation teams.
- Provides technical support leadership to project team members. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Provides consultation on complex projects as a top-level contributor / specialist.
- Participates in all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Protects the confidentiality of patient information through compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH).
- Attend annual security awareness training and testing, as well as rules of conduct and conflict of interest training.
- When interacting with external third-party information technology vendors as a contact person, supervisor, or co-worker, monitors compliance with internal controls for information systems security, including confidentiality and non-disclosure policies; documents all monitoring activities via email.
Essential Knowledge :
Participates in a team of application developers to develop, maintain, and test all Application Development products and environments. Performs software planning, design, specification, development, and testing for Livanta and customer data. Ensures adherence to software development life cycle principles and documentation. Participates in the implementation and coordination of policies, procedures, and standards.
