We are seeking Quality Assurance Engineer to create Playwright scripts for business application regression testing. Work with experienced Playwright development team to create modular Playwright test scripts in Javascript with the GitKraken tool. Designs, develops, and executes detail-oriented test scripts and test cases using test plans and project specifications. Minimum four years experience performing automated testing for business applications.

We are seeking Quality Assurance Engineer to create Playwright scripts for business application regression testing. Requirements
- Ensures that the software produced by the development team meets customer/user and business requirements and is defect free.
- Writes automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Uses Visual Studio tools family, Visual code and GitKraken.
- Designs, develops, and executes detail-oriented test scripts and test cases using test plans and project specifications. Report defects found in testing diligently, promptly, and accurately. Report test progress against schedules (planning and execution). Provide a test summary report that reflects the quality attributes of the software under test.
- Communicates with development, project management as necessary.
- Performs both new functionality and regression tests; identify, analyze, and report issues for follow-up.
- Ensures the integrity of test material.
- Conducts manual functional and regression testing. Assists in automating repetitive testing processes.
- Assists in the development of test plans and utilizes software test tools to automate testing.
- Develops automated scripts developed by manual testing.
- Participates in developing comprehensive test plans according to business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Protects the confidentiality of patient information through compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH).
- Attends annual security awareness training and testing, rules of conduct and conflict of interest training.
- When interacting with external third-party information technology vendors as a contact person, supervisor, or co-worker, monitors compliance with internal controls for information systems security, including confidentiality and non-disclosure policies; documents all monitoring activities via email.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Experience with building automated test scripts from scratch.
- Experienced with Javascript.
- Experience working within an agile development team.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
- Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle process and the role of Quality Assurance (QA).
- Prior experience working within an Agile development environment.
- Experience with sprint planning and tracking in Jira a plus.
- Familiarity with AWS technologies and environments.
- 1 year of experience performing accessibility and Section 508 testing preferred.
- Minimum four years of experience performing automated testing for business applications.
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in computer science, information systems or any other related major.
- Master of Science (MS) preferred.
- Experience writing automated test scripts using Selenium is required.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills; heavy documentation will be necessary.
- Analytical thinking.
- Accuracy and attention to details.
- Effective time management – effective prioritization of tasks and meeting deadlines.
