THE JOB

The Touring Finance Department is in search of a highly motivated individual to join its team. We are looking for an individual who is both passionate about music and possesses a professional work ethic. This is a junior role with opportunity for growth.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Assist with management of financial accounting and tracking of nationwide club and theater level tours

Review and reconciliation of show settlement files and support documents

Preparation of artist payments related to shows and contractual obligations

Preparation of various weekly and monthly internal and external management reports

Assisting Senior Tour Analysts and management with settlements and other finance responsibilities related to larger scale tours, particularly during peak season

Reconciling tour activity to General Ledger in conjunction with Accounting team

Ensuring compliance with internal company policies and procedures, and providing audit support as needed

Working with Analytics team to identify issues and improve reporting for Booking and Finance teams, including management of internal Tour Calendar

Building relationships with Tour Promoters and Directors, Project Managers, Local Accountants and Road Staff

Collaborating with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiencies

Participate in special ad hoc projects on an as-needed basis.

Assist with the development of settlement training materials and administration of training programs.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Associates degree in Finance, Business or related field

2 - 4 years of related work experience, Entertainment industry preferred

Must be flexible, self-starter, growth-oriented and motivated team player

Strong communication skills, ability to interact with all levels of the organization as well as external clients

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines

Strong Excel and computer skills

Software experience preferred but not required : Business Objects, Salesforce
