Assistant Life Coach

Live Strong House ("LSH") is an owner-operated residential and transitional treatment center based in Layton, Utah. LSH is a clinically focused, relationship-based program that believes its employees are the most important part in inspiring change in the life of their students.

The assistant life coach supports the full-time life coaches and works on an “on-call” basis to fill in when life coaches are off duty. An assistant life coach provides a safe and loving environment for our students and are expected to guide, teach, and mentor students in all aspects of their lives. Assistant life coaches work with male adolescents (15-17 years) and/or young adults (18-21 years) who are struggling with anxiety, depression, processing issues, and secondary substance abuse. Ideal candidates are single males who can live and work with a maximum of three students in townhomes owned by LSH in Davis County.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Ability to work flexible shifts which include overnights at times in a home with three male residents. Cannot have outside schedules or restrictions when on shift. The schedule is done weekly and will be different each week.
• Live and demonstrate our core values of humility, courage, resilience, patience and living strong
• Hold professional and personal boundaries
• Administer and record students’ medications in your home
• Provide transportation for students to school and school days and provide recreational activities for students on non-school days
• Maintain certain certifications each year and attend weekly staff and treatment team meetings
• Qualifications and Skills:
• Must be a minimum of 21 years old
• Pass a federal background criminal investigation and a drug screen
• Cannot vape or smoke, nor be an active drug user
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance
• Love for the outdoors and a healthy, active lifestyle
