As part of our continual growth, we are currently seeking skilled and compassionate Medical Assistants, Medical Receptionists and X-Ray Technologists to join our hard working team in all our New Jersey locations and our King of Prussia, PA location.
Typical shifts are 12 hours per shift during the week and 8 hours per shift on the weekend.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
- Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression
- Check-in patients, verify and update personal and insurance information
- Collecting co-pays and providing receipt of money
- Answer phone calls in a timely manner
- Assist in verifying coverage and obtaining necessary authorizations
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive patient information
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the waiting room and reporting any damage when necessary
- Clean, wipe down and sweep areas of the urgent care to maintain a safe environment for both patient and staff members
- Collaborate with the providers and other staff members to ensure smooth patient flow and timely communication.
- Collaborate with the Billing Manager and Chief Development officer for any billing or registration issues
- Providing basic office support such as answering phones, faxing, copying,updating the daily inventory list and ordering supplies when needed
- Be a supportive team player for all urgent care center co-workers

Requirements
EDUCATION:
- Proven experience working in a medical office setting in a Medical Receptionist or admin role
- High School diploma required
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communication skills verbally and written
- Strong knowledge of insurance items such as copay, coinsurance, deductible etc.
- Proficient in using computer systems and electronic medical records (Athena & Solv is a plus)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle high patient volumes
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Understanding of medical terminology and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
- Competent with common PC applications including Internet, Email and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
