Since 1977, Live Violence Free has been a cornerstone of support for survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and child abuse in South Lake Tahoe and Alpine County. From our humble beginnings in a two-room cabin, we’ve grown into a dynamic organization offering culturally responsive services, including counseling, housing assistance, advocacy, and education. About the Role
As a Case Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our mission, providing trauma-informed, client-centered support to survivors. You’ll ensure clients receive the advocacy, resources, and compassionate care they need to rebuild their lives. What You’ll Do
- Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and advocacy tailored to each client’s needs.
- Offer peer counseling and emotional support to clients navigating trauma.
- Develop personalized case plans to help clients achieve their goals.
- Facilitate connections with community resources and ensure seamless follow-ups.
- Support clients in our Domestic Violence Housing Program, including safe housing and housing assistance services.
- Deliver outreach education and training to enhance community awareness.
- Participate in the 24-hour crisis line on a rotational basis, with additional compensation.

Requirements
- 2 years of experience or education in social services, customer service, or related fields.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Bilingual in Spanish or Tagalog (preferred).
- Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Counselor training (provided within 30 days of hire).
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $24 - $34/hour (DOE), plus a $1.80/hour bilingual differential (if applicable).
