Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This position is essential in an outpatient clinical setting where the Medical Assistant will assist with various clinical tasks to enhance patient care.
Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures in the outpatient clinic.
- Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, triaging, and conducting basic laboratory tests.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care as directed by the healthcare provider.
- Support the medical team in managing urgent care situations while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with outpatient care processes.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare staff.
- Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
