Position Overview & Purpose
The Sales Manager, MDU is responsible for contributing to the multi-dwelling unit (MDU) strategy, planning and execution for the successful deployment of fiber to MDUs. This role will work cross-functionally to define the marketing and sales strategies and processes for the MDU program to maximize penetration in this market.
This position is on-site in our Niceville, Florida location near Destin beach.
\n- Collaborate with leadership to establish strategic plans and objectives to drive the MDU strategy, identify needs of the business, and prioritize areas of focus.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop potential strategic growth opportunities and business alliances, including new market entry, partnerships, and joint ventures.
- Manage the MDU business proposal process and execution of bulk and partnership agreements that are beneficial for the company and the customers.
- Grow and foster a team that will drive selling into the MDU market and operationalize solutions for MDU.
- Develop go-to-market strategies to meet specific needs and objectives of the company's identified MDU market goals.
- Work cross functionally with the engineering, planning and construction teams to execute on MDU fiber builds and ensure timely delivery of doors based on commitments.
- Deep understanding of the MDU telecommunications market and insights into competitive products and consumer trends.
- Considerable business acumen, including knowledge and awareness of trends and developments in the telecommunications and information technology industries.
- Strategic and analytical thinking, strong capability for problem solving and program management, sound judgment and a willingness to resolve issues and problems in a timely manner.
- Excellent communications skills and the ability to develop rapport and credibility across the organization, promote ideas and proposals persuasively.
- Demonstrated organizational agility, including the ability to interface with and drive consensus among a broad range of personalities and skill levels.
- Experience and comfort in initiating and cultivating relationship with external parties.
- Creativity and sense of urgency.
- Four years of college resulting in a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of MDU experience.
- 5 years leadership experience.
- Project management, vendor management, and contract negotiation skills and experience.
- Proven ability to champion strategic business opportunities throughout the lifecycle and drive to key decisions; ability to define business value and drive to timely tradeoff decisions.
- Proven track record in working successfully in cross-functional teams and driving success of identified company goals for business.
- Experience with executive and stakeholder communication, alignment, negotiation, and influence.
- 5 years MDU experience.
- Experience in strategy/ business development, financial analysis, or strategic program implementation within a large telecommunications organization.
- Experience working in a startup.
- Project management, vendor management, and contract negotiation skills and experience required.

Salary : $76,500 - $96,900
